Welcome to the Flora Vista Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and Encinitas Educational Foundation (EEF).

 

Flora Vista Elementary School is an exceptional school with an active community network! We have wonderful teachers, a caring staff, and amazing students! Our dedicated PTA and EEF team of volunteers work to promote well-rounded students by helping fund enrichment programs, school supplies, field trips, and more at Flora Vista.

 

 

 

Get ready to lace up those sneakers! The Flora Vista PTA is excited to kick off fundraising for our Falcons’ favorite event of the year, the Annual Jog-a-thon! This year, we're embracing the Olympic spirit of effort and excellence as our Falcons go for the gold! Our fundraising goal this year is $40,000. With your support, we know we can achieve it!

 

 

💰 Where Does the Money Go?
The funds raised through the Jog-a-Thon are vital to maintaining the high quality of education and enrichment at Flora Vista. This year's funds will directly support:

  • Preparing our math wizards for the upcoming Math24 tournament in April
  • Funding lunchtime activities like YMCA Playground Partners
  • Exciting field trips for every grade
  • Enrichment & Intervention teachers' salaries
  • and so much more!


📝 How Can You Participate:

  • Register: Sign-up on Pledgestar to set up your child's fundraising page. The success of this fundraiser relies on the generosity of friends and family. Please encourage your child(ren) to seek pledges from family members, neighbors, and friends for flat-rate donations or per-lap pledges. NEW THIS YEAR: Unlock a prize for your child's class when every child is registered!
  • Volunteer: We need volunteers to mark laps, hand out water, and cheer on our students! This is a great opportunity to be up and close to the action! If you can help, please sign up here.

 

 

 

 

Meetings

Our PTA member meetings happen every other month, and we'd love to see you there! All parents are highly encouraged to join the PTA and participate. We invite you to provide your feedback, ideas, and opportunities to further improve our school. Upcoming meeting dates and times are announced on social media and in the Flora Vista weekly newsletter, so keep an eye out!
